Tandem was so excited to partner with owners of a thriving eyecare office in Hilliard, Ohio to help rebrand their practice. Dr. Vanderhorst and Dr Eddleblute had bought the practice from the previous owner and were ready for a refresh!
The Challenge
Tandem was asked to rename, rebrand, and create new signage and marketing materials for the practice! The challenge was to develop a new brand identity that effectively represented these two amazing doctors and resonated with patients.
We started with understanding their vision for their new brand. How did they want patients to view them? What other brands inspired them? We also looked at the competitive landscape. How did other optometry practices in the area represent their brands? How could we differentiate the new brand from the competition?
A New Name and Logo!
After a brand discovery process and the competitive analysis, we began the naming process. The current name was Ackerson, Vanderhorst, and Edddleblute Eyecare. Quite a mouthful, and included the previous owner’s and the current doctors’ names. The goal was to find a name that was simple, unique yet relevant, memorable, and modern.
After brainstorming, presenting, and narrowing options, we agreed on the final name: Clarity Eyecare. Next steps: a new brand design! Once again with constant communication and several versions later we designed a final logo that the doctors felt represented their new modern brand.
